For security purposes, all physical and virtual cards are issued in an inactive state. Transactions cannot be authorized until the card is activated.
Customer Activation
Cardholders can activate their cards directly within your mobile banking or e-wallet app. This secure process typically requires identity verification via a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered device.
PIN Activation
Cards can also be activated upon the first successful PIN-based transaction at a payment terminal.
API Control
As the program manager, you can trigger card activation programmatically via our API, giving you full control over the activation flow and user experience.
