Is There a Time Limit to File a Dispute?

Yes. Most disputes must be submitted within the following time limits:

  1. Allocation Disputes (Fraud & Authorization): 
    • Fraud Dispute: 120 days from the date of the disputed transaction.
    • Authorization Dispute: 75 days from the date of the disputed transaction.
  2. Collaboration Disputes (Processing & Consumer):
    • Processing Dispute: 75 days from the date of the disputed transaction.
    • Consumer Dispute: 60 days from the date of the disputed transaction.
