All cardholder-reported fraud must be reported to the card network, regardless of the transaction amount.
A fraud report is required for every confirmed or suspected fraudulent transaction — even if the cardholder does not wish to raise a dispute or chargeback. Failure to comply with network reporting requirements may result in fines or suspension of chargeback privileges.
Program partners are responsible for ensuring all fraud cases are properly reported in accordance with network rules.
